Surveys
Council conducts surveys within the Palerang LGA for a variety of reasons. Surveys of a sample of the entire population are conducted in conjunction with strategic planning and various governance requirements. These generally cover a broad range of issues and are prepared and conducted on Council's behalf by specialist organisations.
More informal surveys are also conducted within individual localities or community groups to gauge response to specific Council proposals. These surveys tend to be targeted more specifically at an individual issue and are prepared and conducted by Council itself.
